Morag MacDougal was a seventh year Hufflepuff during Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness. Morag was dating Wayne Hopkins during DAYD. Morag wanted to get a MAGI in Magical Law and become a member of the Wizengamot and trial and judge with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Morag was one of Ernie Macmillan's chasers on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team; she joined in her fifth year. In sixth year she began dating Ernie. But after summer they never resumed dating; though they never officially broke up as both were too stubborn to be the one to do it but Ernie started dating Susan and Morag began to date Wayne.
She was killed in the Battle of Hogwarts when, with Lupin and Wayne, she was sent to hold the Forbidden Forest. She attacked a giant who was attempting to get at the fighters in Gryffindor Tower. She managed to slash his Achilles tendon, which did severely injure him but he reached down in pain and swatted her; she flew into the wall of the castle and she died instantly.
Zach and Megan Smith name their first daughter after Morag.
