Laura Madley was a fifth year Hufflepuff during Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness. At 14 (15 as of the end of DAYD) she was a late bloomer. She was the oldest of three girls in a Pureblood family. Laura had an "epic" crush on Michael Corner.
For Valentine's Day of the 1997-1998 school year she went on a date with Icarus Utterson (because she thought he had a cute accent). Other than this she was not actively dating.
During the Battle of Hogwarts she was in Arthur Chambers's group; attempting to flush Death Eaters out of the castle. She was hexed severely by Rookwood. She survived but was left with severe seizures that kept her in the hospital until in her death in 2004, at the age of 19, of a brain hemmorhage.
