First Appearance
Alice Longbottom is the mother of Neville Longbottom and she was an auror. Bellatrix Lestrange, the Lestrange twins, and Barty Crouch Jr. tortured her and her husband, Frank, into insanity. She would give Neville candy wrappers when he visited her in St. Mungo's (where she lives permanently). She hums bits of music but it would not match any songs. But, in A Peccatis, when Justin Finch-Fletchley (visiting the hospital with Neville) heard the songs he recognised them immediantly; they were Muggle songs (that's why no one else recognised them). Her and her husband died the night after Justin was able to communicate with her, the killer remains unknown.
